Terms of Service — Krickit
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Krickit (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you accept them, together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use Krickit.

1. Eligibility and your account
You must be 18 or older to hold an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must create and manage the account and is responsible for everything done on it.
Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including what a teammate does if you hand them your phone to score. One person, one account.
2. The service
Krickit lets you score cricket matches ball by ball, track statistics, form teams and clubs, run tournaments and player auctions, share posts, stories and messages, and ask an AI assistant about your cricket.
We may change, pause or retire features. If a change materially reduces something you have paid for, section 7.4 applies.
3. Usernames
Your username is your public handle. It must not impersonate another person, team, club, brand or Krickit itself. We may reclaim or change a username that breaks this rule, or one that is inactive and being used to mislead.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy and display it only to run Krickit, for example showing your photo on your profile or your post in a follower’s feed. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already shared with others and routine backups.
You confirm you have the right to post what you post, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
5. Acceptable use
Krickit has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
You must not:
- Post unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene or defamatory content
- Post, share or request any content that sexually exploits or endangers a child, or contact a minor for a sexual purpose (see our Child Safety Standards)
- Bully, threaten or abuse another user, or encourage violence or self-harm
- Impersonate another person, team or club
- Falsify scores, statistics or auction bids, or manipulate rankings
- Use bots, scrapers or automation to access Krickit
- Try to breach, probe or disrupt our systems
- Upload malware, or use Krickit to send spam
- Share another person’s private information without their consent
- Use Krickit for gambling or betting on match outcomes
- Resell or commercially exploit Krickit without our written permission
Reporting and blocking: you can report a post, comment, story, chat message or account in the app, or email support@krickit.in, and you can block any account from its profile. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or close the accounts that post it. Child sexual abuse or exploitation closes the account permanently and is reported to the authorities, as are other serious breaches.
6. Matches, tournaments and auctions
6.1 Match records
Scores are entered by users, not verified by us. We do not guarantee their accuracy. A disagreement about a scorecard is between the teams involved; the match’s scorer or admin can correct it in the app.
Deleting a match reverses every statistic it produced for every player, and cannot be undone. After you delete your account, your name stays on the scorecards of matches you played, because those records belong to everyone who played in them.
6.2 Tournaments
Tournament organisers set their own rules, fixtures, entry conditions and awards, and are responsible for running their events. Any entry fee, prize or offline arrangement is between the organiser and the participants. Krickit is not a party to it and does not collect or pay out money for tournaments.
6.3 Player auctions
Auction purses and bids are virtual points used to build squads. They are not money and have no cash value. An organiser can add or remove teams and players at any time. Once an auction is live, teams and players cannot register or withdraw themselves.
7. Coins, memberships and payments
7.1 What coins are
Coins are a limited, revocable licence to use features inside Krickit. They are not money, not a deposit and not a stored-value instrument, and have no cash value. They cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money, and earn no interest.
7.2 Buying
Coins and memberships are sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and we never receive your card or UPI details. Google’s terms apply to the transaction. Prices include applicable taxes.
7.3 Refunds
Because Google handles the purchase, refund requests go to Google Play under its refund policy. We cannot refund a Play purchase directly.
If coins were lost through a fault of ours, email us and we will look at a goodwill credit. Coins already spent on a feature are not refundable.
7.4 If a paid feature changes or ends
If we retire a feature you have an active membership for, we will either give you a comparable feature or refund the unused part of your membership.
7.5 Free coins and XP
Coins and XP earned from rewarded ads or promotions are limited per day, may expire, and may be removed if obtained through fraud, automation or a bug.
7.6 Account closure
Unused coins are lost when an account is deleted, or closed for breaking these Terms. Coins are not property and cannot be inherited.
8. Advertising
Krickit is supported by advertising, so the free app shows ads. We do not show ads during live scoring or auction bidding. An ad-free membership removes the ads we place in the app.
9. Krickit Assistant
You can connect Krickit to an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude. The assistant gets read-only access to the data you can already see in the app, and you can disconnect it at any time.
The assistant’s answers are written by that AI provider, not by us, and may be wrong. Check anything important against the app. Your use of the assistant is also governed by that provider’s terms.
10. Intellectual property
Krickit, its name, logo, software and design belong to us and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or build on the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
11. Third-party services
Krickit uses Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob, Google Firebase, Google Cloud and MongoDB Atlas. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their parts of the service. We are not responsible for their failures where they are outside our control.
12. Disclaimers
Krickit is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not promise that Krickit will always be available, timely, secure or free of errors, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
13. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill or opportunity.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) INR 1,000.
Nothing here excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
14. Indemnity
You agree to cover our losses, damages and reasonable legal costs from claims arising out of your content, your use of Krickit, or your breach of these Terms.
15. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, with notice unless the breach is serious or unlawful. Sections 4, 7.6 and 10 to 14 continue to apply after your account ends.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer right you have to bring a case where you live.
Please email us first. Most problems are sorted out quickly that way.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will tell you about material changes in the app at least 7 days before they take effect. If you keep using Krickit after that, you accept them. If you do not accept them, delete your account.
18. General
If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us. You may not transfer them; we may, as part of a merger or acquisition.
